What`s On
Essex Air Ambulance Lands End to
John O`Groats Sponsored Ride
In aid of Essex Air Ambulance
The Lands End to John O`Groats sponsored ride
went ahead as planned with Chris and Doug battling through torrential rainstorms
and poor weather conditions
to complete the ride in an incredible 17 Hours, stopping only for a quick bite
to eat and fuel.
The ride has raised much needed funds for the Essex Air Ambulance Helicopter
which is 100% funded by public donations and sponsored events
The aircraft costs in excess of £105,000 each month to run but receives no
central Government or National Lottery funding; relying upon the generous people
of Essex to raise sufficient revenue to keep it flying.
If you would like to know more or would like to make a donation then please
