How much does it cost?

This really depends on the length of the course, which is relative to how much experience you have in bike control and time spent on the road with a bike.

CBT training costs £ 90.00 on your own bike and £ 110.00 with bike hire
Restricted A2 training costs between £ 149.00 and £ 619.00, the total cost will vary, depending on how much training is taken.
Direct Access training costs between £ 449.00 for 2 days and up to £ 699.00 for 5 days training

What type of licence do I need?

What is involved in CBT?

5 modules of training, also see CBT in the COURSES section.
A. Aims of CBT and the correct equipment and clothing
B. Machine controls, practical on-site training
C. On site practical training
D. Road briefing
E. On road practice

What is involved in the full licence training?

After CBT you have either a choice of the DIRECT ACCESS or RESTRICITED A2 training both of which will be conducted with bike to bike radios and will involve on-road tuition. Please see the COURSES section for further information.

Do I need a theory test?

Yes, but please see the LAW section on Theory Test

How long does it take?

The training will last 1 day on CBT (providing the attained standard has been reached) and between 2 - 5 days for the full licence training. Each day is 9am - 5pm.

Do I need to take a CBT?

Most people will need a CBT certificate but please see the LAW section on CBT

What bikes do you use?

50cc automatic Scooters
125cc Honda CG Motorcycles
500cc Suzuki GS 500 and  Kawasaki ER 500 Motorcycles

What clothing do I need?

a) A sensible sturdy jacket which will be both warm and waterproof
b) Long trousers (eg. jeans)
c) Boots or strong shoes
d) Motorcycle gloves

Do I need to have my own bike?

No, bike hire is available for all courses including insurance.

How can I pay?

We accept all major debit and credit cards, cash and cheques.
Deposit is payable on booking and the balance is due at the start of the training.


What happens if I fail my test?

In the unlikely event of a fail, you must wait a mandatory 10 clear working days before being allowed to re-test. There is a set cost of £ 185.00 to re-test, this includes training, motorcycle hire and test fee.

What days do we train on?

We are open 7 days a week with courses running everyday.

How much notice do I need to give to book a course?

The more notice the better, at least 1 week for CBT course and 2 weeks for a full licence intensive SUPERCOURSE.
We sometimes have availability for short notice bookings but there is no guarantee of a place.

What bike should I buy?

This really depends on what type of riding you are doing, your size, running costs etc.
Our instructors are on hand to advise you on the best bike for your needs, just pop in or give us a call.
