SUPERCOURSES

Intensive training courses designed as a complete package offering ALL of the training over a period of 2, 3, 4, 5 days.
Starting with CBT and ending with the part 2 practical test on the last day of the course, everything is wrapped up in one package. The course is usually taken over consecutive days to aid continuity but if you wish we can tailor it to suit your needs.
All 3, 4 and 5 day Supercourses have an all inclusive price.

CBT

Compulsory Basic Training is designed to be an introduction to riding mopeds or motorcycles and no previous experience is required. CBT is not a TEST. Starting in a approved off-road training site you will first learn the machine controls followed by practical on-site riding. Providing a basic ability to the required standard has been attained the course will finish with an on-road session to ensure a safe standard of riding on the road has been reached. On completing the course to the required standard a certificate of completion will be issued. ( DL 196 ). This course will guide you through starting to ride for the very first time and must be taken before riding on the road and moving on to a full licence. The course duration is one day but should further tuition be needed this will be provided free of charge. See the LAW.

RESTRICTED A2 (33Bhp)

The training is taken on a 125cc motorcycle all the way through from CBT to the part 2 practical test. On passing the test riders can then ride any size motorcycle providing the engine power does not exceed 33bhp ( 25 Kw ). This restriction will last for a period of 2 years, after which any size bike regardless of power can be ridden. The training can be taken either as an intensive SUPERCOURSE or tailored around your needs. We recommend you take a FREE INTRODUCTORY LESSON to assess your ability for the correct course length. DIRECT ACCESS

For riders who are aged 21 or over. This allows you to train on a larger motorcycle to gain a full unrestricted licence. The training at the start will be conducted on a 125cc motorcycle after which time you will move on to a 500cc ( 46.6 Bhp ) machine for further tuition and test. Passing on this size of motorcycle will gain the rider an unrestricted full licence. The training can be taken either as an intensive SUPERCOURSE or tailored to suit your needs. BACK TO BIKING

Born again, or for those who want to get back in the saddle this is the course for you. Either using your own bike or hiring one of ours the training is taken at a pace suited to you. Covering all aspects of returning to a bike after a break this 3 hour session will soon give you the confidence you need to take to the road. Riders must hold a full UK motorcycle licence.

ADVANCED

For riders wishing to hone their motorcycle skills, polish up their riding or prepare for the advanced test. The course is suited to experienced riders ONLY with their own machines who already hold a full UK motorcycle licence. Training is supplied to the ROSPA gold standard.

REFRESHER TRAINING

Just passed the test or wishing to brush up on a few riding skills refresher training will do just that. Either hiring our bike or using your own the training is conducted on a hourly basis and will centre around improving your riding gradually. Suited for riders with intermediate ability.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

If you are an enthusiastic motorcyclist, this could be the job for you. We offer an intensive training course designed to getting you started on the road to becoming a fully qualified motorcycle instructor. Full or part-time positions could be available for the right applicants on completion of the course.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
A keen experienced motorcyclist aged 21 or over with a full CLEAN bike licence for at least 3 years.
It helps to have a good sense of humour and lots and lots of patience.

COURSE CHECK LIST
Please remember to bring the following:

Driving Licence ( Both Parts )
CBT Certificate (If applicable)
Suitable Clothing: Gloves, suitable trousers (jeans), sturdy jacket, boots or strong shoes
If you wear glasses please remember to bring them along

If your using your own motorcycle you must bring the following:
A valid insurance certificate or cover note
A valid MOT certificate
The machine must be road legal, display a valid tax disc and L-plates front and rear

TEST DAY (part 2 practical test only)

You MUST produce the following documents

Your licence ( Both Parts )
CBT certificate (DL196)
Theory test certificate
*You must produce photographic ID - this MUST be a valid Passport, no other ID will be accepted
*(Please Note- Your valid passport is only required if you have the old style paper driving licence. If you have the new style 2-part photo ID licence then your passport is not needed).

Theory Test
The theory test is a computer based test and consists of two parts, it is compulsory for everyone wanting a full motorcycle licence.
Part 1: Multiple Choice
The first part consists of 50 multiple choice questions on a touch screen computer designed to test your knowledge of the Highway Code, riding theory, rules of the road, road craft, documentation and
motorcycling matters. The pass mark is 43 correct answers out of the possible 50
Part 2: Hazard Perception
The second part of the test is a hazard perception test; the test consists of 14 video clips shown from a rider’s perspective. 13 clips contain one developing hazard and one clip contains two developing
hazards. You will need to respond to any developing hazard by clicking the mouse button as soon as you see a hazard which may result in you, the rider, having to take some action such as changing speed or
direction. Each developing hazard has a possible top score of 5 points, the pass mark is 44 points out of a possible 75.
We can provide theory training and mock theory tests for trainees free of charge, we also provide a theory test booking service with excellent availability.

CHECK LIST
Please take your Driving Licence (Both Parts).
*You must produce photographic ID - this MUST be a valid Passport, no other ID will be accepted
*(Please Note- Your valid passport is only required if you have the old style paper driving licence. If you have the new style 2-part photo ID licence then your passport is not needed).
You must arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your test.
Should you decide to cancel or move your test, we must receive 6 working days notice.
Please inform us as soon as possible as to the result of your test.
In the event of a fail you must wait 3 clear working days before re-testing.
